Mrs. Janes, a fifth grade teacher at Glen Oaks is a veteran, so we celebrated her and her service to the United States on Thursday, November 10th. Mrs. Janes was a member of the Coast Guard for several years! Students signed a banner thanking Mrs. Janes for her service, her classroom was decorated with USA balloons, and apple pie was served in the staff lounge!
