The 5th graders were treated to a mini band concert put on by the 8th grade band from Conrady. The 8th grade band played a few songs for the 5th graders. The Conrady band director, Mr. Slater pointed out all the different types of instruments being played in the band, as well as gave some information about each instrument so that the 5th graders could get an idea of what instruments they would like to play, if they choose to join the band this year.
