Mrs. Shakir’s 5th grade honors math class was hard at work learning about the volume of composite shapes. The students did a fun hands on activity getting measurements of the irregular shapes to then find the volume of them. The other 5th grade math students will be doing the same thing in a few weeks! Mrs. Shakir said the students really enjoyed the activity and getting to be more hands on in math class.
